What this tool does
Turn an image into a browser-ready favicon.ico file. The ICO container embeds a PNG image. Modern browsers support this format, but keeping an SVG or PNG favicon as a fallback is also useful.
Privacy and file handling
Your file stays inside the current browser tab during processing. BrowserPixel does not receive, store or inspect the image. Closing or refreshing the page clears the selected working data from the page.
Quality tips
- Keep an untouched copy of the original file.
- Use PNG for transparency and sharp interface graphics.
- Use JPG for photographs when transparency is not required.
